So… we have an announcement to make.
Ian (FTG to many of you) mentioned to the rest of the band some months back of his wish to hang up his bat so he could dedicate more time to his family life and other interests.
Rob, Mya and Ed spent nearly two months trying to talk him round, change his mind, ignore or change the subject. However for anyone who is, or has been, in a band you’ll know how demanding it can be.
It’s not just about the hour you spend on stage every few weeks – it can often take up much of your free time between performances. There’s recording, rehearsing, marketing, merchandising, promoting and the never ending task of maintaining the online presence.
We’d urge all supporters of the band to join us at this special gig to give Ian the send of he deserves and help us thank him for dedicating nearly five years of his life to Making Better Party with us.
